The demo by Aldae was initially made in 2019 for inclusion on Justin’s album Justice, but didn’t make the cut.
The pre-chorus has similarities to "Unstable”. A modified version of the demo ended up going to the talent reality television show The Debut: Dream Academy, released on August 21, 2024, before Justin ended up recording it himself late in 2024.
