Justin Bieber: [enters]
Radio hosts: There he is. [people are shouting]
Elvis Duran: Alright. I know you went to the bathroom, did you wash your hands?
Justin Bieber: I wash my hands a lot.
Elvis Duran: I'm a little upset you washed your hands
Justin Bieber: We're not disgusting.
Elvis Duran: I know, that's okay. Sit down Justin Bieber is here.
Justin Bieber: So many people in here.
Elvis Duran: Yeah we got a lot of people.
Radio host: You look so much taller than last time.
Justin Bieber: A little bit, i grew. That's what you do when you grow up.
Elvis Duran: There's so many people in here. Do you know, who are these people in here?
Justin Bieber: Uh we got like 6, 7 camera people. The rest of them are all new people who just are always around the office but I come to town and you know what I mean?
Elvis Duran: They kinda linger.
Justin Bieber: Right?
Elvis Duran: You look good.
Justin Bieber: Thank you.
Elvis Duran: Now tell me how good I look. I'm not here hearing that from you.
Justin Bieber: You look awesome.
Elvis Duran: Ah! Here
Justin Bieber: You look refreshed. You look handsome.
Elvis Duran: Alright but what more about me?
Radio host: Keep it going.
Elvis Duran: No uh. What do you mean by the way. The only thing that makes me mad about your single is we needed it at the beginning of summer 'cause it's…
Justin Bieber: Right.
Elvis Duran: It's a great summer sounding song.
Justin Bieber: Right.
Elvis Duran: So why'd you wait until autumn? I mean, it's almost CHristmas.
Justin Bieber: I think it's just timing, right? I think that just as far as me being ready to get back out in the world 'cause once it starts it doesn't stop for me.
Elvis Duran: Yeah.
Justin Bieber: So it's just, was my mind ready, was my heart ready? Was this the music that I wanted to release? 'Cause at the end of the day I don't know if you ever really know if that's when trust really comes in or fade and being like ok now I did my part and we could go back and forth on this. Is this the right sound or is this, but I think at this point I'm finally like you know what I love what I do, I love the style where I'm going in my direction right now so.
Elvis Duran: You know it's always been about the music and unfortunately over the last couple of years it was about other things, stories in the paper, you know this and that. It's always been about the music for you. You love the music. It should always be about that.
Justin Bieber: For sure, for sure that's why I got started and that's why I you know do what I do, it's 'cause I do music [laughs] and not because I'm… I don't know these last couple of years have been just a learning process for me. I'm just happy to get back out here.
Elvis Duran: And you should. During everything, like all the stories out and all the… What did I always say every single time that a weird story about you came out. I'm like guys.
Justin Bieber: You just can't help feel judged though, you know. When you come back and you see people that you know have been talking smack about you and now they're being all smiley so you try to come to the situation unfaced but at the end of the day you still have those thoughts and feeligns that are like 'Ok, are these people really for me or are they against me or are they just doing this 'cause now I'm helping them or…' I don't know, I have all these mixed feeligns of like awkwardness.
Elvis Duran: Don't. I mean it's easy for me to sit here and say 'don't'
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: Because you're gonna feel the way you wanna feel.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: But it's about the music.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: It's about the album.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: Let the album do the talking. You don't have to say anything.
Radio host: Honestly out of everybody this guy always had a positive thing to say about you.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: He was like you're his Justin.
Justin Bieber: I just like that you and I have been doing this since the beginning, right?
Elvis Duran: Yeah.
Justin Bieber: So you've always supported me and I really appreciate that. I appreciate all you guys. I'm really and you say it's about the music and it is about the music but it's also about like the legacy that I wanna live and a legacy that I wanna leave behind.
Elvis Duran: That's weird.
Justin Bieber: And it's a lot of pressure but it's also something that I'm ok with because I know the platform that I have and the people that I'm able to reach and it's like I don't want to take that for granted but I also don't want to be like, I don't want to put too much pressure on myself so this next chapter I've just been like I'm gonna be who I know I am, be who I know the people who believe in me know I am and that's all I can really do. I can't really ask for more than that.
Elvis Duran: No, you can't control, you can't control everything and everyone. Sometimes you gotta sit back and just let it happen.
Justin Bieber: I just wanna be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me and making sure I am the best version of myself 'cause there's so many people in this industry who just wanna keep seeing me fall and see me, you know on the other side.
Elvis Duran: You really think there are people who want to see you fail?
Justin Bieber: A 100%
Elvis Duran: Why would anyone want anyone to fail, I don't understand it. But who do you think it…
Justin Bieber: I think it's just human nature. I think jealousy takes over. I think certain things that we can't control like I know sometimes I get selfish or have you ever been in a room and someone's just too happy and you're like angry because they're so happy? I get like that sometimes and I'm like this dude like why is he so happy?
Elvis Duran: Stop it now.
Justin Bieber: I think that's just like jealousy and I just wanna work at being better every day at all that stuff.
Elvis Duran: And surrounding yourself. This is the important thing we can all take away from this, surrounding yourself with people who support you.
Justin Bieber: That's where it starts.
Elvis Duran: And don't waste time on people who aren't good for you.
Justin Bieber: But it's gotta be on you, you know. You gotta make the conscious effort 'cause for me it was so many times people who, it was good people coming in my life and tugging at me but I wasn't ready, you know.
Elvis Duran: Right.
Justin Bieber: They'd be like Justin, Justin. Come on but I wasn't ready to take that leap and be like ok this is what I want to change, this is who I am, this is not who I am. But it takes moments of clarity to be like: oh that's why I'm not like this, that's why I shouldn't do this, but without those moments of realization. Don't just do stuff 'cause someone else is telling you not to do it, don't just do stuff 'cause you feel oh this person is going to think this of me if I do this. No, do it until… I mean, maybe I'm a bad influence but for me it was like I'mma do this until I feel like I shouldn't be doing this and maybe I was wrong but that's how I learn and I feel like I'm much better for…
Elvis Duran: Hey, we're all learning.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: You know what, it's not a youth thing. My dad who passed away at 90 years old basically up to his last day, his last breath. He always says I'm never gonna know it all, I'm still learning.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: Even at 90, the guy was still learning things and trying to figure out life.
Elvis Duran: So what about trusting people?
Justin Bieber: Trusting people is hard especially for me.
Elvis Duran: Why is that?
Justin Bieber: 'Cause I just, I've trusted people who I probably shouldn't have trusted before and they've kinda hurt my heart. Just like, I'm a pretty sensitive guy.
Elvis Duran: Right.
Justin Bieber: So I'll give it, like I'll lay it all in the line and then they'll kinda like pull so now I'm just kinda like figuring out ok there's certain people I can do that with, certain people were here but were not here [touches heart] and for the people on the radio, I know you don't really know what that means here and here but I did a visual effect for it.
Elvis Duran: I saw it, I saw the whole thing. You know what it's so hard to just give someone your heart and say hey it's yours to break so don't mess with it.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: But we need to have people in our lives we can trust because it's you know, that's…
Justin Bieber: A 100%
Elvis Duran: Like going through life not being able to trust anyone, that would be awful so you got to pick and choose wisely.
Justin Bieber: A 100% and just like but do it, don't let people… Here's a thing I'll tell the people, don't let someone who ruined your trust ruin that next person's chance to not trust. Just because you had some bad food at one McDonalds doesn't mean, there's a bomb McDonalds across the street that's just like incredible with the bad food so.
Justin Bieber: I'm really like out here and I'm tryna grow and I'm becoming the man that I wanna be and I think it's, it's only gonna be easier if I have people supporting me and not bringing me down so. You know if you wanna ride this train with me guys. I'd love to have you on board. If not, don't get in my way. Alright.
Elvis Duran: I just, I never thought you did anything wrong.
Justin Bieber: No, I never thought I really did anything wrong either. I think that's just, you know I'm on a microscope and there's certain things that you know I'm not, that I can look at it and be like 'Yeah, that wasn't me' but we all have those moments and as long as we can understand those moments, and look at those moments and say 'Yeah, that wasn't me and I know who I am'
Elvis Duran: You know what I did on the way-end to see you?
Justin Bieber: Yeah?
Elvis Duran: I peed in the mop bucket outside.
Justin Bieber: See sometimes you just have to do it.
Elvis Duran: Sometimes you gotta pee in the mop bucket.
Radio host: It's on my bucket list actually.
Justin Bieber: Here's the thing right, it's like if Ozzy Osbourne woulda pee in a bucket, everyone would be 'Oh, you're a rock star, you're a beast. Oh he did it. You see it? He did it. Me I do it and they're like 'Oh, what a bad kid' peeing in buckets and stuff.
Elvis Duran: [laughs] So the question is this and I think I know your answer but I'm gonna ask you anyway. Looking at the last two years, three years. What would you do differently if you had to do it all over again? Would you really do anything different?
Justin Bieber: Uh, would I do anything different?
Elvis Duran: Regrets? Is there any regret flowing around?
Justin Bieber: I woulda um…
Staff: [adjusting microphone]
Radio host: We have a droopy microphone.
Justin Bieber: I just see it. I'd probably stay away from Miami.
Elvis Duran: [laughs]
Elvis Duran: No, but you know what all that stuff is who you are, man.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: You are, you're building yourself. As we will do to the end of time.
Justin Bieber: 100%.
Elvis Duran: The good and the bad, that's what makes us who we are.
Justin Bieber: For sure, for sure and it's…
Elvis Duran: And no regrets man. Don't have one ounce of regret.
Justin Bieber: A 100%.
Elvis Duran: Maybe Miami. [laughs]
Justin Bieber: Yeah, yeah exactly. Honestly I'm just really appreciative of you guys and appreciative of all the stuff that you guys have done for me over the past few years and supported me through all the nonsense and even not knowing really what's going on but knowing every time I come here that you guys know my heart and stuff and that means, means a lot to me.
Elvis Duran: Are you in love?
Justin Bieber: Um yes. I am in love.
Elvis Duran: With what?
Justin Bieber: Her name's Esther. She's my little puppy.
Elvis Duran: Ah.
Radio host: What kind of puppy is she?
Justin Bieber: She's a silky terrier.
Elvis Duran: Look at that.
Justin Bieber: She makes me smile.
Elvis Duran: I'm in love with my dog, Mac. It's ok to be in love with your dog.
Justin Bieber: Yeah of course.
Radio host: Totally.
Justin Bieber: I'm in love with you.
Radio host: I'm in love with you too.
Elvis Duran: Oh here we go.
Justin Bieber: Get over here.
Radio host: Come at me.
Justin Bieber: [hugs radio host]
Elvis Duran: Oh there they go. Making out with a married woman.
Justin Bieber: Wow Jacky get permission for this one.
Elvis Duran: It does so good.
Justin Bieber: it just feels so right in so many ways.
Elvis Duran: So any ballads, any romance on this album?
Justin Bieber: Yeah, yeah, we got a bunch of stuff. Sorry I'm away from you. [adjusting hat]
Elvis Duran: Yeah come over here. Where's your, oh your hair's cool, man. Let it out.
Justin Bieber: It's long, right? [running his fingers through his hair]
Elvis Duran: Yeah it's nice. Play with it while you got it. 'Cause one day you're gonna look like… Look at this, you're gonna have this one day, look. [shows hair] See that bald spot?
Justin Bieber: Oh.
Elvis Duran: I know.
Justin Bieber: That's not a good look.
Elvis Duran: Can you think of anything worse than losing your hair? It's awful.
Justin Bieber: [shakes head] No.
Radio head: Make him feel good, Justin.
Elvis Duran: It's ok.
Justin Bieber: Sorry.
Elvis Duran: I'm used to it. I still let anyone look at my head.
Elvis Duran: Does it make you feel weird when you see your fans and they're crying?
Justin Bieber: Yes, yes.
Elvis Duran: Does that make you a little uncomfortable?
Justin Bieber: Um, not uncomfortable but it's hard to try to like figure out what to say sometimes. You know when they just come up and they're bawling and you're just like 'It's ok, I love you. It's all gonna be okay.'
Elvis Duran: Ah. [laughs]
Radio host: There were two girls in front of the building today and they were crying. I think because you were that close to them.
Radio host 2: One was on the ground like lying on the ground sobbing and she was just saying 'I got close' or 'He was close' or something and so as weird as it must feel for you to see that. There's gotta be a part of you that is happy to know that there's still this giant huge group of people who are so excited to see this music come out.
Justin Bieber: Yes and no. I just think it, like if I get [adjusts seat] happy by the love. If that's what truly makes me happy then once the hate starts to happen. I'm gonna really die by the hate. So I tend to not get my satisfication through my fans. [drinks water] If that makes sense. To the people who love me, I love them dearly, don't get me wrong. But I don't get [drinks water] off like that. You know I don't like 'Oh, now I feel good 'cause they're screaming for me'. You know if I get through that then as soon as someone starts to hate me I'm gonna be like, why don't you, like I feel, like you know? If I get that love through the people who I know truly, really love me then I'll step in those environments and be cool and like the hate'll be just fine, the love will be al- awesome but just don't live for that.
Elvis Duran: Right.
Elvis Duran: You know what, I've been looking for to this day. For several years, I'm so glad you came to see us. You look great.
Justin Bieber: Thank you.
Elvis Duran: This album, this album's gonna, I know this album is going to be a total, total defining part of your life.
Justin Bieber: Thank you.
Elvis Duran: 'Cause you know what, with all the stuff that's happened. with you over the last years. When you have this body of work out through the, to say to everyone. 'Hey this is who I am.'
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: You can't talk back to it.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, but here's the thing though…
Elvis Duran: I'm so happy for you.
Justin Bieber: I just wanna make it clear though, it woulda been a lot different even if I woulda come back now and if I would have been this arrogant kid coming back and being like 'Yeah, this is who I am' and still had the smash records, it wouldn't be the same. Do you know what I mean like it's different, I'm not coming back and being like 'Guys, I told you. I thought I told you. Like check it out. Look at the…' You know it's like, no I'm here and I'm telling you guys that I wanna do this with you, like I don't wanna do this and try to be something that I'm not. I don't wanna try to, um, or for you to think that he's in his own world, you know, doing his own thing and he's just like… No I wanna be involved with everyone. I want everyone to know that this is a group thing. I wouldn't do this, I couldn't do this without you guys so. As long as I get that mesage out there and get the message out that like let's crush this and that's like crush life and have fun and create awesomee relationships and that's really what's life about, growing, eating awesome food, hanging out with pretty girls. That's just, what is there more to talk about?
Elvis Duran: I'm with you. well two out of three.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, true, true, true, true.
Elvis Duran: Justin Bieber. New album, we think it's coming out in November. Scooter won't tell us. Zoolander, can't talk about it. VMA's sunday night and of course “What Do You Mean?”, we're gonna play it now. Justin Bieber, you always have a home with us. To the good and the bad, you always have a place with us, remember that. Justin Bieber [claps]

Justin Bieber: Thank you.
Elvis Duran: When I heard Boyfriend for the first time yesterday. It sounded like a different Justin Bieber. You sound different, the production sounds different. It just sounds like a whole new approach.
Justin Bieber: We wanted to make something different, something that was gonna catch people's attention and I knew basically everything has been uptemppo and we wanted to slow it down a little bit and show people that I can evolve.
Elvis Duran: There's depth to this that you don't have in your other music. Does it insult you when I say your own music in my opinion didn't have a lot of depth compared to this?
Justin Bieber: No, no. I totally, I can see where you are coming from.
Elvis Duran: I'm not saying that your stuff is crap.
Justin Bieber: No, no no. Yeah, yeah, yeah of course. I was just younger and my voice was just higher and so it would get to a younger audience but now I'm kind of broadenin my audience.
Elvis Duran: Like you've been talking about love when you were thirteen. What is love when you're thirteen.
Justin Bieber: Yeah exactly.
Elvis Duran: I mean [?] when you close your door at night and read porno. [laughs]
Justin Bieber: I mean [laughs]. When you're sixteen, I mean, that's when yo'ure first tryna figure out what it means. That's kind of puppy love. But I mean now being eighteen and tryna figure out what it actually really means is a totally different story.
Elvis Duran: Yeah, so now we have a whole album that I don't even know if you guys have chosen the tracks for Believe, the album that's coming out. I mean are all the songs on this album so different, like a huge depart from [?]?
Justin Bieber: Yeah man, it's so, it's so. like everything is so different and we wanted to just make different genres and just. I did a song with Drake, I did a couple songs with um you know, Hit-Boy and just great songs that I know that we can not like them. There's just great songs.
Elvis Duran: It's all about the collaborations for you. You love, you have Drake on there. Do you prefer to have someone to collaborate with on everything you do or?
Justin Bieber: I just like to pick the best of you know, everything and just take the best people from the best eras in music and try to make something that people are gonna be like "Wow I didn't expect him to go there but I also respect him for trying."
Elvis Duran: Right, so Mark Wahlberg gave you a call and says I want you to be in a film. Did you crap your pants? [laughs] I mean Mark Wahlberg.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, he told me about the script and I was like "I think this is a crazy idea." because like I love basketbal and.
Elvis Duran: Well what's about you and basketball.
Justin Bieber: It's based around basketball. And basically me and him [?] people.
Elvis Duran: So is he in the movie too?
Justin Bieber: Yeah he's in the movie.
Mark Wahlberg: Oh so he's in it?
'Justin Bieber: Yeah it's me and him.
Elvis Duran: And he started shooting [?]?
Justin Bieber: We haven't started yet. No, the script keeps coming back and it's not good enough. So we just keep, trying to get it better.
Elvis Duran: Did you ever say "I wanna be an actor one day, that's for part of my plan."
Justin Bieber: I wanna do a movie, it's not something that people are just like "you should do movies." Like that's something that I wanna do and I wanted to do. Like even when I was younger, I was in play and stuff.
Elvis Duran: Yeah. You look at some of the artists that you grew up listening to and you were fans of who influenced you. They didn't have social media, it's a whole different game now. Um, can you imagine doing what you're doing without that connection with your fans?
Justin Bieber: Honestly no, I mean I can't see, everything I do is through the internet and through like social media so just to not have like Twitter and Facebook and all those social media networks. I don't know what I would do.
Elvis Duran: Are you tweeting every day?
Justin Bieber: Yeah, every day.
Elvis Duran: Do you have people tweet for you?
Justin Bieber:' No, no. I have it on my iPhone and to tweet.
Elvis Duran: You really do live for your fans heavily.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, I mean yeah. That's who built me. That's who helped me be where I am so that's why I love them so much.
Elvis Duran: Have you ever felt like you let your fans down?
Justin Bieber: A couple times where like we've been in the car and getting chased by paparazzi for like an hour and then we finally get out at their spot and there's fans there but then there's like 30 paps so we have to like run out and the fans are left there and they feel like I just left them there but really that wasn't the case.
Elvis Duran: The paparazzi, they really do.
Justin Bieber: Yeah they just, yeah they just ruin it because then the fans don't get any time with me. Because I would stop and I would take pictures and all that. But then like I got cameras flashing on my face and it's just a big [?].
Elvis Duran: et me tell you something from the other side of that. I live in the neighborhood in New York where there's a lot of celebrities hanging out, you know shopping or whatever. And The paparazzi, they're always up and down on the sidewalk. And if they see someone they need to get a shot of or if you walk down the street. They will physically knock me over, they will knock anyone over to get that picture of you.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, it's crazy. You think after the death of princess Diana they would have outlawed the papaarazii but.
'Elvis Duran: No. Speaking of paparazzi, I don't want to get into your relationship and personal things but you did recently say something about you and Selena are Finally at a point now where you're not working is hard to hide Simple things like going out for dinner because of the paparazzi thing I'm assuming. I don't know why you would ever hide going out to dinner or make it a big secret. But what leaks did you guys go through just to throw people off. Just to have a simple dinner somewhere.
Justin Bieber: I mean, you never really hit the fact except that maybe at the beginning but like. I just don't like to throw it into people's face and be like here we are, strolling on the beach. I hate that, like I hate that people just get to see me on the beach just strolling. I'm tryna enjoy the summer breeze and then I just got people with cameras taking pictures, like the other day. Right, I'm on the beach, you can't see a camera. I'm like [?]. The next day I look on the internet. There they are, the pictures of me just sun tanning.
Elvis Duran: Have you ever worn disguise?
Justin Bieber: Um not in disguise, I worn like a mask before.
Elvis Duran: A mask?
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Elvis Duran: Like a Freddy Krueger? [laughs] I mean something crazy.
Justin Bieber: It was just like a regular mask. It was just like uh, I don't know, it was a white mask.
Elvis Duran: But this is the sacrifice you've made for what you do.
Justin Bieber: Uh-huh.
Elvis Duran: So you don't hate what you do at all? You don't hate…
Justin Bieber: I don't hate what I do at all. I love what I do and I wouldn't [?].
Elvis Duran: The album Believe is gonna be the biggest summer album. It will be big for at least a year or two.
Justin Bieber:' Hopefully yeah.
Elvis Duran: You're predicting number one?
Justin Bieber: I think so. I mean.
Elvis Duran: You think so?
Justin Bieber: Yeah, yeah. It'll be number one.
Elvis Duran: You're being modest.
Justin Bieber: I mean, I'm just tryna just like you, you say the right thing.
Elvis Duran: Alright, Believe will of course be number one and Boyfriend is the single. Listen to it. It's smooth, it's very, very soulful. And congratulations and we can't wzit to talk to you again. Justin Bieber!
Justin Bieber: Thank you.

Justin Bieber: Right here yeah. Justin Bieber.
Garrett: Bieber. Um, I can call you a sensation I guess.
Justin Bieber: I guess if you want to or you…
Garrett: A YouTube sensation.
Justin Bieber: Or you can call me Justin.
Garrett: Or Justin.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: Middle name's sensation, let's work on that.
Justin Bieber: Okay.
Garrett: Alright so Justin you're kinda blowing up right now.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: In the musical world.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: Not like you know weight or anything but the good stuff.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garret: Um, so let's turn back to when you first started. So you've been, you put up your first video of your performance, you know so your family could see.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: Uh, when was that?
Justin Bieber: Um those are about three years ago.
Garrett: Three years ago.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: And then after you put up that video, what happened?
Justin Bieber: Um, just basically kinda blew up on YouTube. Um kinda, I just kept posting more videos and more videos after it like, I started reaching a couple thousand. I was like man that's amazing and then I hit a million, I was like man that's incredible. So I started posting more videos and more videos. Then I got discovered by my manager, Scooter Braun who flew me out to Atlanta where I got to meet Usher and I got to sing for him and stuff and he wanted to sign me but a week later I also had a meeting with Justin Timberlake who also wanted to sign me.
Garrett: So you have Justin Timberlake and Usher fighting over you.
Justin Bieber: Pretty much.
Garrett: What did that feel like?
Justin Bieber: It was definitely an amazing experience. I mean I really couldn't have went wrong either way.
Garrett: Alright I think either way you're gonna make it big anyways so I think you proved right but so let's talk about your manager. He found you just like straight off YouTube, right?
Justin Bieber: Yeah, just contacted my family and uh yeah.
Garrett: Was he looking for like piano cat and he became you know.
Justin Bieber: No he was actually. He was just doing some work for uh. he was actually doing something with Akon. An artist of Akon's. He was looking at him and he was watching a "Respect" video that he did and it was really bad quality, like the quality, the picture quality. So he wanted to get it. He thought it was him in a diferent angle so he watched the video and it was my video, seeing "Respect" and he was like dang and then he started watching more videos and kind of just was like yeah I need to find this kid. He wasn't just searching little boys on the internet.
Garrett: [laughs]
Justin Bieber: [laughs]
Garrett: Hello.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: Alright so uh, you're doing what most you know kids your age would dream to do in like ten years.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: So do you suggestn you know if you want to do it you gotta do it yourself and sing into the camera and put up on YouTube.
Justin Bieber: I mean I was really blessed with the whole situation that happened. Um yeah but definitely if you love to do what you love to do just do it. I mean there's nothing really more to say. Just go with your heart basically.
Garrett: See you played for 17,000 last night.
Justin Bieber: Yeah.
Garrett: What, was that the biggest crowd you've played for so far?
Justin Bieber: Yeah that was the biggest crowd. That's like I live in a small, I lived in a small town of 30,000.
Garrett: Canada.
Justin Bieber: Yeah that's like half the population in my whole city.
Garrett: So you're either becoming a music sensation or a hockey sensation.
Justin Bieber: Yeah, I actually yeah that was actually the…
Garrett: The back-up plan.
Justin Bieber: Yeah um I actually started playing hockey when I was like 4 and I loved hockey growing up. I had to either make the decision to play hockey or be a singer and I just loved, my music for, my passion for music was just amazing so I just.
Garrett: The Vancouver Canucks ready to sign you and then you're like oh Usher got me, Usher got me.
Justin Bieber: [laughs] Yeah. Yeah
Garrett: I gotta go.
Justin Bieber: [laughs] No.
Garrett: Alright so we're gonna do one song here then we're gonna do something pretty cool because you got like a following of hundreds downstairs so uh, so let's perform one song.
Justin Bieber: Let's do it.
Garrett: Your choice.
Justin Bieber: Okay.
