On December 8th, 2012, Bieber officially announced the album via Twitter saying, "Been writing alot...new stuff...and yeah. the acoustic album, new arrangements, is happening". On December 28th, 2012 justin's manager Scooter Braun tweeted "(for those asking yes @justinbieber played guitar on the acoustic album. and yes there r now 10 song not 8 because he wrote 2 new ones 2nite)". On January 5th, 2013, Bieber revealed via Twitter the new tracks. On January 6th, 2013, Scooter Braun confirmed that there would be an 11th track included on the acoustic album. He went on Twitter saying, "up early working hard to get this last minute very heartfelt song the kid just wrote onto the #BelieveAcoustic album. #11songs". In a press release from Bieber's label, it stated that "Fall" will be a Live version and Bieber and his guitarist, Dan Kanter, co-produced on every song. The release date is January 29, 2013.
Live performances[]
On February 9, 2013, Bieber gave a debut performance of "Nothing Like Us", a bonus track on Believe Acoustic on Saturday Night Live. He served as both the host and musical guest and also performed an acoustic set of "As Long as You Love Me".
