Mariah Yeater, who claimed Justin Bieber sired her 3-month-old son, lied about everything. Justin Bieber wrote a song about her called 'Maria'.

Accusations[]

On October 31, 2011, a 20-year-old named Mariah Yeater accused and sued 17-year-old Justin Bieber that her 3-month-old baby was the singer's son. The demand was to "confirm it scientifically" according to Star Magazine site, the site that had the exclusive a few days later in November.

Star Magazine on the same day published Mariah's cover magazine with her son Tristyn Yeater, born July 6, 2011, along with an interview with her. According to Mariah, she had sex with Justin backstage at a concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2010. People close to Bieber said they have not yet contacted a lawyer; and that he couldn't believe that someone could create some malicious, slanderous lie against Justin.

A day later Justin posted on his twitter; "so I'm going to ignore the rumors... and focus on what's real. A chance to help what I love. Judge me on music! Love y'all!!!" making it clear that he was going to ignore all rumors about paternity to focus on his music. While all this, Mariah Yeater was already giving an interview on television and radio, even her father commented on the controversy. Justin commented for the first time in an interview with Matt Lauer where he denied ever meeting Yeater.. “None of the allegations are true,” Bieber said. “It’s crazy that people want to make up such false allegations.” “Never met the woman,” Bieber added, noting that after his performances he heads straight for a car to drive him away from venues.

Justin called in to "TMZ Live" to address the accusations -- telling them it's the first time anything this "crazy" has ever come up ... but he's sure it won't be the last.[1]

Everything became clear when weeks later Mariah Yeater dropped the lawsuit against Bieber. Reportedly because Justin's lawyers were going to counter-sue for defamation. Days later, a 23-year-old man named Robert Powell was arrested for drug possession. He told that he is the real father of Mariah Yeater's son.[2][3]

TMZ Mariah messages

TMZ leaked text messages of Mariah talking to a friend, begging him to erase an incriminating text in which her mom says someone other than Justin Bieber is the baby daddy, and then promising to give him a cut of the action when she scores a payday.[4]

Justin Bieber took a DNA test in New Jersey but Mariah nor her lawyer made any attempt to contact Justin's team ... to compare his DNA with her baby's.[5][6]

While a month later, Powell himself told RumorFix that Mariah paid $50,000 to the press to lie about the case and make "some quick money". Powell continued "we were both homeless and living in Oceanside (California) and Mariah was trying to make some quick money." "She just picked him (Bieber) because she thought he was famous and thought she could get a lot of money by telling magazines Justin was the father. She saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money." "...I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. He's just a little kid man. He doesn't need to going through all this drama. He got a career and shit to focus on. I feel sad for the dude."[7]

Song[]

On June 15, 2012 Justin Bieber released his third studio album Believe, along with a Deluxe version that includes the song "Maria".A track that talks about the whole situation. A denial message about paternity and denying Yeater's lies told in interviews.

"Maria" but without H; perhaps to avoid possible legal issues, is a Michael Jackson-style pop song produced by Darkchild. As Justin commented: "That's my Billie Jean." The song also features an intro where journalists are talking about the controversy. Same concept of "Tabloid Junkie" also by Jackson.
