Nathan McKay was Justin Bieber's neighbor in Stratford. He met him when Justin was 2 years old. He started hanging out with Pattie Mallette and Justin and then they started inviting him to church, that's when McKay noticed Justin's talent.[1]
He is a musician and local music promoter, who was one of the organizers of a benefit concert to buy Justin, then 8, a set of serious drums in 2002. Justin calls him "The Lion King" because of his crazy beard and impressive head of big, bushy hair.
On July 20, 2018 Nathan McKay discussed his friendship with Justin and his role in supporting Justin's early musical talent for the Stratford Museum's programming.
