“Peaches” is a song by Justin Bieber featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon from Bieber's Justice album.
Background[]
Justin lives pretty close to Andrew Watt. “He FaceTimed me one day, he’s like, 'What are you doing today?' He rode his scooter over and we were just sitting around and he started playing these chords on the piano. I was like, 'Alright, let’s record that.' I caught him on the drums, and he laid down this amazing beat. Then I picked up a bass and he was telling me the bass line he heard in his head. Then Justin got on the vocal mic and started freestyling which ended up being the hook of Peaches. We weren’t supposed to make a song that day — Shawn Mendes came over and hung out on the couch while they were making, and then Louis Bell came over while we were making."[1][2]
Justin Bieber shared the video of him playing it on piano on Instagram. Shndō had seen the video and screen-recorded it. He threw it into Ableton and sped it up a little bit. He made a quick pseudo live-drum groove on Ableton. And then took the piano jam that Justin did at the end of the video and put it in the intro. He texted that to Harv and named it 'Peaches' as a placeholder. Then Harv sent some guitar strums and a reverse guitar thing.[3]
When presented to Justin, he was like, "Yo, this is fire." He went to the studio and re-recorded the hook and wrote a verse and then sends it back. A couple of hours went by. Justin FaceTimed Harv and he was just like, "You're not gonna believe who I got on the second verse… Giveon." Three to four weeks went by and Justin was like, "I'm thinking about getting Daniel Cesar on it".[4]
The song was later seen written on a note in the documentary, Justin Bieber: Next Chapter.
Justin’s idea was bringing Daniel Caesar on. DJ Tay James connected Justin with Giveon.[5]

They filmed the music video on February 24, 2021 in Santa Monica, California, for more than 10 hours. Colin commented, "Justin and I wanted to do something that had the energy of Mase, but modern sets, modern energy, bright, glossy, and feel good energy."
The music video has 3 stages. First, Justin, Giveon and Daniel Caesar in a car, with a green screen background, imitating a street at night. With neon lights with different shots, Justin sitting on the hood of the car, Daniel lying on the roof and another shot from inside the car, where the color red/orange predominates. The second is a room that is predominantly light blue, with two signs letter by letter saying Peaches, front close camara shot. In others, Justin dancing. The third stage is a dome, with peach color and Justin in an 80' suit, custom made by Justin's stylist Karla Welch in less than 48 hours. In some shots he's wearing a beanie, in others a bandana.

Lyrics[]
[Chorus: Justin Bieber]
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that’s it)
[Verse 1: Justin Bieber]
And I see you (Oh), the way I breathe you in (In)
It's the texture of your skin
I wanna wrap my arms around you, baby
Never let you go, oh
And I see you
There's nothing like your touch
It’s the way you lift me up, yeah
And I'll be right here with you 'til the end of time
[Chorus: Justin Bieber]
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that's it)
[Verse 2: Daniel Caesar]
You enjoy it, but I'm for you
All I could want, all I can wish for
Nights alone that we wished more
And days we save as souvenirs
There's no time, I wanna make more time
And give you my whole life
I left my girl, I’m in Mallorca
Hate to leave you, call it torture
Remember when I couldn’t hold her
Left the baggage for Rimowa
[Chorus: Justin Bieber]
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that’s it)
[Verse 3: GIVEON]
I get the feeling, so I'm sure (Sure)
Hand in my hand because I'm yours
I can't, I can’t pretend, I can't ignore, you're right for me
Don't think you wanna know just where I've been, oh
Done bein' distracted
The one I need is right in my arms (Oh)
Your kisses taste the sweetest for mine
And I'll be right here with you 'til the end of time
[Chorus: Justin Bieber]
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that's it)
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
(I get my light right from the source, yeah, yeah)
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that's it)
I get my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (That's that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that's it)
