Tired and curious, I come home from school late, 1 hour from mass on Ash Wednesday, I decide to throw myself infront of my computer and check Bieberpedia and LEAKTH.IS, when my jaw dropped to the flor... 6 new leaks, 6!
That was something I really didn't expect, after all, we just got 2 songs a few days back and I was still bumping to those full time, but who am I to complain? Now on to the songs, they are simply put, amazing.
I'll skip Antidepressant and Coincidence, since I wrote about them in my first blog 3 days ago.
The first song I decided to listen to was Ain't Afraid. When the snipped leaked a few days ago, the last thing that would have come on my mind is we actually getting the full song a few days later. I'm so stunned when I should be screaming of joy (which I did too). The beat is so sick, that I don't even mind the song not being finished. You know i'll be jamming to this song for a long time. This song actually suprised me too, because I'd never though 2013 Justin would do a song like this, man if my 12 year old self heard this in 2013...
Secondly, and a welcome suprise, a song we haven't known of before, Dance Like That. Another song that 12 year old me would most likely faint over If I heard it back then. I have a feeling this is going to be my jam this summer. It may be short, buy I'd say quality over quantity on this one.
Feel My Love, now this is something I'd definitly been waiting for, a unreleased song from 2012. We've gotten so much songs from Justin's break year of 2014, but none really earlier. While it is a good song, it's probably my least favorite from todays leaks. When I heard one part of the song I instantly remembered we used to call this song "Tonight" for some time. Sidenote, I thought that this song was from 2014 first time hearing it and it has a Jullkeyz vibe to it.
Onto Raise The Bar. This is the song I'll be bumping to when I'll be cathing feelings. It's relaxing vibe really gets to me. Hoping for the full song with Cody to leak someday, but still thankful for it.
And now we get to the undoubtedly biggest suprise of them all. Slow Up. Man this brings back some memories when I wen't skiing and this song couldn't get out of my head, that was wayback in 2014. I never thought about this song again after that until now. With this was, I'll be honest I didn't know what to expect, but boy, what I've heard is really, really good. True 2013 vibes right there, from start to finish.
Last but not least. And definitly the most interesting one, Trust Me. I was one of those people who called this song "Aye Girl" for a long time. Anyway, to my point. This song is pure fire, I mean it, it gets me in the mood. I swear I've never heard anything like this song, the beat is something speacial, it really is, but it's the lyrics that got me wondering, is it about Selena? Is this how the break up happened? I mean this song it from 2013, early 2013 that is since Za posted lyrics back in May 2013, so not long after their first break up in 2012. Of course, another demo it is, but it's interesting how he seems to finished it after more than a year, presuming it was written and recorded in early 2013 and finished sometime in 2014, maybe for a album that was planned? Justin is known to re-record songs, like No Sense of Life Is Worth Living (maybe even Backpack or Memphis). Eitherway, great song and hoping the 2014 version sees the light of day sometime.
